An activities week offers your students the opportunity of unique and memorable experiences, and a chance to mix with other pupils and build confidence.
A trip to Barcelona is a great choice to offer as part of your activities week programme in 2017. Below are five great excursions that your students can experience:

Camp Nou Stadium

Camp Nou has been the stadium for FC Barcelona since 1957. The Camp Nou Experience gives students the opportunity to visit the playing field, visitors’ dressing room, players’ tunnel, commentary boxes, pressroom, museum, and see numerous interactive displays.

PortAventura

This seaside theme park (one of the largest in Spain) is located 90 minutes from Barcelona and includes six themed worlds, rides and live shows. The park boasts the largest roller-coaster in Europe – the Shambhala!

Olympic Stadium

A great chance to visit the site of the 1992 Olympic Games, this is an impressive complex to explore, including stadiums, great courtyards, fountains, a park, and the landmark Calatrava Tower.

Las Ramblas

Las Ramblas is the central boulevard, around 1.2 kilometres long, which cuts through the heart of the city centre with Port Vell at the Southern end and Plaça Catalunya at the northern end. This is a great place for students to experience the everyday culture of the city.

Sagrada Familia

This impressive Catholic church is Gaudi’s unfinished masterpiece and the most popular tourist attraction in the city. This large, sand-coloured church is as impressive inside as out with its stained glass windows, towering spires and surfaces overflowing with sculptures.
